During first week of February 2026, after completing Physio treatment at Vadapalani, my Wife’s relative prompted us to consult one Orthopedic Doctor in MMDA Colony Chennai.
That Doctor advised us to take an X-Ray of my Wife’s Both Knees & the X Ray showed clearly the deterioration. I discussed with that Doctor about the treatment available for my Wife’s ailment in order to give her a permanent solution.
The Doctor explained that he will do the Surgery for One Knee first & then after a Week complete the Surgery for the Second Knee. When enquired about the cost of treatment, Doctor’s explanation was not convincing , appeared little bit wavering.
This situation forced me to contact my Friend, Dr Senthil who instantly suggested the name of Dr Bharat Loganathan & went to the extent of fixing appointment on 10.2.2026 at 11 am at the Clinic situated near Ega Theatre.
My Wife & my Wife reached well in advance at 10.30 am to the Clinic, could meet Dr Bharath. Dr Bharath’s approach of treating a Patient appeared totally appealing to me.
He said he is ready to treat the ailment of my Wife & gave 100 % complete assurance of solving the ailment. When enquired about the place of treatment , he suggested that he will do the Surgery at Prashant Hospital, Harrington Road, Chetpet, Chennai.
He further gave a prescription mentioning the details about Tests to be done before Surgery & the Clinic Staff to be approached to get details about Hospitalisation & Treatment.
I told him that I would look for an auspicious day for admission to the hospital & finally selected 19th Feb 2026 for admission & 20th Feb 2026 for Surgery of Left Knee.
Prior to the admission at Prashant Hospital, I visited the Hospital to get myself acclimatised about the facilities available. I met Ms Sathya at Reception Desk (Floor 1) & explained that I wish to get some of the Pre-Surgery Tests at Prashant Hospital prior to Admission on 19.2.2025 at 4 pm. She instantly obliged & confirmed that there is a provisional room booking in my Wife’s name & she went on share her contact details so that I can speak to her in case of any exigency. This particular behaviour has immensely pleased me & Ms Sathya did an excellent on the day of admission (19th Feb).
Similarly, in the field of management of Insurance claim also, the service extended by the Insurance Desk attached to Prashant Hospital has been excellent. This shows that Administration of Front & back Office of Prashant Hospital are really commendable.
An important upoint worth mentioning at this juncture is the Nursing Facility available round the clock in the Floor No 4 has been really amazing.
To conclude, I wish to make a small suggestion about the Western Closet provided in the Room – The Height of Closet is pretty low appears to create discomfort to the users , especially Old Age Patient/Attender.
